240 patrons showed up to the North Manchester Public Library's St. Paddy's Golden Egg Hunt!
Kids ages 9 and up searched every square inch of the adult department, from looking behind books, to checking under cushions, to peering under furniture. Younger kids, ages 4 to 8, loved searching the children’s department, while babies and toddlers had a blast in the Chipper Chicks zone, where several soft toys, cushions, and pillows had been placed around the room with all the eggs. "I had a lot of great feedback from parents," said Sarah Morbitzer, Children's Department Manager. "One new family just moved here from Wisconsin and they absolutely loved the hunt and are excited to start attending Storytime!" "Within 20 minutes, almost all of the eggs were found, though we’re sure a few more will turn up over the next few weeks," said Jeanna Hann, Adult Department Manager "Three of the golden eggs never did get located, so keep an eye out the next time you’re at the library!"
