The North Manchester Public Library Makerspace is . . . Two kindergartners painting a watercolor for their favorite teacher. A kid investigating the wonders of electricity and sparking a life long interest in technology. A bunch of teens meeting up to play vintage board games. A babysitter introducing a group of kids to the highly addicting Perler Beads station. A parent sewing a Halloween costume. A grandparent creating a beautiful scrapbook so the whole family can remember that epic road trip to the Grand Canyon in the 70's.
In the Makerspace patrons of all ages are free to create, tinker, investigate, and learn. Housed in the library's large basement facility, there's plenty of room for families, friends, groups, and individuals to immerse themselves in a project.
Patrons and community members who would like to use the space should watch for Open Makerspace Hours scheduled on the NMPL programming calendar. Unable to make it to the library during Open Makerspace Hours? Check out our Makerspace-2-Go take home kits and activity sets!
