I say "Libraries!" You think "Books!" But did you know we are also a place where you can file for unemployment, preserve old home videos, laminate that 6th grade poster assignment, and restore your favorite DVD? ALL of these things (and more) are possible with the equipment we have available for use here at the library. Read on to find out more about our tech-related services!

Computer Hours: Monday - Thursday: 9:30am to 7:30pm; Fridays - Saturdays; 9:30am to 4:30pm; Sundays - Closed. Please note: Holiday closings may impact computer lab hours. Our Computer Lab features ten computers available for public use - no library card is required! An "Acceptable Computer Use Policy" must be agreed to before using any computers, and all computers are are available first come, first serve. There is a one hour time limit if others are waiting. |

There is something strangely calming about watching our 3D printer lay down layers of filament as it builds a project. The process from file to object is surprisingly simple thanks to user friendly step-by-step instructions and trained staff who will lend a hand if you get stuck. Users and passersby (and even staff!) regularly pause to watch this magical transformation take place. Succulent planters, Baby Yoda figurines, hose adapters, credit card wallets, articulated chameleons - these are just a few of the thousands of free templates you can choose for printing on our MakerBot Replicator! The cost of using the printer is $1.00 (0-60 minutes printing), $2.00 (61-120 minutes printing). The cost will increase by $1.00 for every sixty minutes of use. Patrons are asked to keep all prints appropriate in content and refrain from printing anything that could be considered a weapon. Users will be able to see the amount of time a project will take (and how much money it will cost) before deciding to print. The machine is available first come, first serve. |

Our easy to use, touch screen copy machine can make black & white or color copies with a simple push of a button! The fee for black & white copying or printing is 10 cents a page, and the fee for color copying or printing is 25 cents a page. Need to get documents or images into your email? FAXING
The library staff will fax documents for patrons for the cost of $1 per page. A confirmation page is printed, so you always know that your fax reached its destination safely! |
ADDITIONAL SERVICES

LAMINATORS:
Laminators are available to laminate large or small items - from newspaper clippings, to posters, to signs! We ask that all patrons allow the NMPL staff a 24 hour period to laminate items. Laminates 8 1/2" x 11 and small are $1.00 a page, and large laminates are $0.10 per inch. DISC CLEANING: The library offers cleaning and scratch repair for DVDs, CDs, and game discs. The cost for this service is $1.00 for each disc. We ask that all patrons allow the NMPL staff a 24 hour period to clean items. Please note that severely scratched discs may not be repairable, and we cannot guarantee that every disc will be fixed. Cracked discs are beyond repair. NMPL is not responsible for any damages or repairs that may be caused during the cleaning process. |
