SUMMER READING
Our Teen Summer Reading program is for teens ages 13-18. Teens will read books (including audio and eBooks) over the course of 8 weeks, and those who complete the entire Summer Reading program will win some great prizes! Teens can even count books that they read to younger siblings!

HOW TO SIGN UP: Once the reading program begins in the summer, participants can come into the library and sign up at the adult circulation desk and pick up your first paper tracker! Read what you want at your own pace, and keep track of your hours read on your paper tracker. On the back of your paper trackers, you can apply your hours read towards the different prize bundles listed! Once you've hit your first 10 hours, bring that tracker in (with the back filled out for the amount of tickets earned) to get the first section prize. After that, receive the second tracker and continue on from there to earn your next section prize.
*PLEASE NOTE: Trackers MUST be turned in, in order to claim section prizes and for a chance to win a grand prize. Not much of a reader? No worries! You can read as much or as little as you like... and audio books count too! Spending a lot of time with kids? Reading to others counts too! |
HOW TO SIGN UP: Once the reading program begins in the summer, participants can sign up via the FREE Beanstack app. Be sure you've got the Beanstack app downloaded on your phone beforehand, so you'll be ready to go!
