Meeting Rooms
Meeting rooms, including the Blocher Community Room, are available for use by community groups, organizations, and individuals.
 
Blocher Community Room

The Glen and Eleanor Blocher Community Room is available for use by responsible North Manchester area groups, organizations and individuals.

  • To reserve the Blocher Community Room, please submit:
    -a $50.00 refundable deposit;  and
    -a completed application form.

  • Capacity of the room is 60 people using tables and chairs, or 80 people using chairs only.

  • Use during or outside of library hours (7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.)

  • A kitchenette facility is available for serving light refreshments; preparation or serving of meals is not permitted.

  • A podium, hand-held microphone, speaker, and screen are available for use.

  • Other equipment may be available for use upon request, such as a video or slide projectors.

  • Complete copies of the Blocher Community Room Policy and the Application Form are available at the Adult Services desk of the library.

 
 
Conference Room
  • May be reserved in advance: only three dates may be on reserve for a group or individual at any one time.
  • Capacity of the room is 10 people.
  • Use during library hours only.
  • Contains a wipe-off white board.
  • Light refreshments may be served.
 
Storytime Room
  • Used mainly for library programs offered by the Children's Department.
  • At other times, it is open for informal use during library hours.
  • Reservations may be made at the discretion of the Children's Department and the Director.
 
Study Room
  • Available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Sign in at the Adult Services desk .
  • Capacity of the room is 6 people.
  • Use during library hours only.
