Equipment for Use in the Library

The library has equipment available for use by individuals while in the library. Minimal fees cover the cost of paper or laminate. If you need assistance in using the following equipment, please ask library staff for help at one of the service desks.

• A copy machine is available for patron use.
  -Copies are $.10 per copy or side on letter
  (8 1/2" x 11") or legal paper (8 1/2" x 14").
  -Copies are $.20 for each copy or side
  on ledger paper (11" by 17") .
  -For double-sided copies, please see staff for assistance.

• Computers for public use are available in both the adult and children's departments

   -An "Acceptable Internet Use Policy" must be read and signed before using Internet-accessible computers.
  -Computers may be reserved; otherwise, they are available as they come open.
  -Limit of one hour if others are waiting.
  -Computer printouts are $.10 for black and white; $.30 for color.

• Microfilm reader/printers allow viewing and printing of newspaper back issues and local area census records.
   -Copies are $.10 per page. 
   -Microfilm machines are located in the adult computer area and Indiana Room.

• A fax machine is available, with staff assistance, for sending or receiving faxes. The charge is $1.00 per page.

• Laminators are available to laminate large or small items.
  -Staff assistance is required.
  -Please give 24-hour notice.
  -Laminates are $.10 per inch (laminates smaller than 8 1/2" x 11" are $1.00).

• Book covers can be placed on your personal books. The charge for this service is $1.00 per book.
