As many of you know, our July Reader's choice display this month has featured a tantilizing display of summer cookbooks, guaranteed to give you plenty of uses for your summer fruits and vegetables. The month is wrapping up, but we wanted to continue that theme a little longer with a few more cookbook reccomendations, based on your favorite go-to dish from summer BBQs! These books are available in the library or via Hoopla and Libby (by Overdrive), our two free e-libraries.
P.S. How mouth-watering is that description for the Street Food cookbook?! "With the soaring popularity of street food – ready-to-eat and portable, finger-licking dishes – you can stroll through bustling market stalls anywhere in the world and choose amazing dishes from foodie vendors that tempt you with their wonderful aromas and first-rate flavours. Head to the streets of Mexico for a buttery corn-on-the-cob or a tasty taco, to China for some sticky pork bao buns or walk the alleyways of Italy for arancini bites or a cooling scoop of gelato." ...sign us up!
