The New York Public Library recently released a list of their top 10 most checked out books in the library's history, and we were so inspired that we decided to the do the same! We were only able to go back about 22 years, to when the catalog went digital, but we think you'll enjoy the list just the same! Our top checked out books of all time are all children's books, with the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling claiming three of the top ten spots. The classic book The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle nabbed the first place spot, handily!  We seem to have a lot of Nicholas Sparks fans in North Manchester, as the author has seven books on our Top Adult Fiction list, with The Rescue being the most popular check out!  Family films comprised most of the Top DVD Check Outs list, but Lost Seasons 1 and 2 claimed the first two spots!  Stop by the library any time to check out one of these top items yourself!
