Pathfinder Services HomeOwnership Center offers the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program at the North Manchester Public Library today from 10am to 4pm. The Pathfinder IRS trained and certified staff members and volunteers provide free tax preparation assistance to those who made less than $55,000 the previous year and who meet other qualifications of the program. The HomeOwnership Center has been administering the VITA Program for more than a decade and results in hundreds of thousands of dollars in total Earned Income Tax Credits and generates millions of dollars in tax refunds for those served each year.
