Homeschool Art Class is today at 2pm in the Blocher Room for those who have registered! Today we're learning all about fashion designer Elsa Schiaparelli, who collaborated with some of the most famous artists of her time. Her unique way of seeing the world and taking inspiration from modern art movements resulted in unforgettable couture. Today we explore an art form that impacts all of us: fashion design. In each session of Homeschool Art, children will learn about the artist and their use of everyday items to create surrealist art. Sessions will begin with a short presentation in the Blocher Community Room and will be followed by an activity inspired by the artist's work. Wearing clothes that can get messy is always a good idea! Registration is required for every child planning to attend. Space is limited. Participants are encouraged to bring a folder to keep any coloring pages or fact sheets they are given during the class. Masks are required for all indoor programs. Join us for Evening Tales at 6pm! We'll be exploring the mythical creature of Lake Champlain - is it real? Learn about the sightings and the stories behind this legend - then decide for yourself! We’ll be decorating Champy T-shirts to take home!
