Surrealist painter Salvador Dali was known for his amazing mustaches, his unusual pets, and his bizarre paintings. Join us today at 2pm as we dive into a world of melting watches and optical illusions with our Homeschool Art Class Program! In each session of Homeschool Art, children will learn about the artist and their use of everyday items to create surrealist art. Sessions will begin with a short presentation in the Blocher Community Room and will be followed by an activity inspired by the artist's work. Wearing clothes that can get messy is always a good idea! Registration is required for every child planning to attend. Space is limited. Participants are encouraged to bring a folder to keep any coloring pages or fact sheets they are given during the class. Masks are required for all indoor programs. Elementary aged kids are invited to enjoy an hour of stories, games, crafts and snacks today at 6pm for Evening Tales! This evening we're learning all about Dia de los Muertos. This special Mexican holiday is a beautiful celebration of family and friends. Join us as we learn about the traditions of Day of the Dead and paint sugar skull designs.
