Join local author Cliff Kindy on Zoom for a special presentation and book signing on his new book Resurrection Peacemaking. The author carries the reader from the trauma of Gaza Strip under the brutal Israeli occupation, to the visit of the suicide bomber to the CPT house in Baghdad, to the transforming nonviolence of the Mayan Abejas in Mexico in the face of displacement. In story after story, the reader is invited to develop and use the tools that are stronger than tanks, suicide bombs, and fighter jets. What are the nonviolent tools in your toolbox?
Cliff has lived here in the Manchester community for the past 37 years. He and wife Arlene make their living from an organic market garden. They keep their income below the taxable level so as not to pay taxes for war. They have raised two daughters who are now married and teaching children how to care for gardens of their own. All four of the Kindys have been active with CPT over the years. Join Zoom Meeting HERE. Meeting ID: 917 3357 8280 Passcode: 234616
