It is with much sadness that NMPL is announcing that Heidi Lovett has resigned her position as Programming Coordinator. Her last day at NMPL will be Friday, October 15th. Heidi has worked at NMPL for almost 10 years, and has been instrumental in the enormous growth of programming and the success of NMPL's Summer Reading programs. She was also responsible for the creation of the Makerspace, and led NMPL's programs in an innovative way, earning the attention of ALA and of libraries across the nation.
We are grateful for the time that she spent here and all that she brought to NMPL, and we wish her nothing but the best of luck in her next adventure.
NMPL invites the community to say goodbye to Heidi at her Open House on Friday, October 8th from 2:30pm to 4:30pm. Join us in the library Makerspace to wish Heidi farewell and enjoy some yummy treats.
The mission of the North Manchester Public Library is to provide materials, programs, and services necessary to meet the recreational and educational needs of the community in an easily-accessible facility, which is a community center of activity and information.
