We're SO excited for March, because In Person Programming is BACK! We have a stellar line up of programs planned for this week and we can't wait to see you for all of these fun events!

STORYTIME
Every Tuesday & Thursday in March at 11am 
Join us for this beloved program... from delightful stories, to silly songs, to cool crafts, Storytime has it all! ​

​WATERCOLOR PAINTING: BASIC TECHNIQUES
Tuesday, March 1st @ 3:45pm
Join this 5 week class on the basic techniques of watercolor painting. Each week, we will work on learning a specific watercolor technique. Participants can either work freehanded or there will be printed out pictures to paint. This class is for everyone and for every skill level! Please call the library to register.

CRAZY 8'S MATH CLUB: ROAD TRIP
Tuesday, March 1st @ 6pm (3rd-5th Grade)
Wednesday, March 2nd @ 3:45pm (K-2nd Grade)
It’s back! We have an incredible lineup of games, creations, and fun to help us explore math concepts in this third season of our Crazy 8's Club. Crazy 8’s Math will run for 8 weeks and children must be registered in advance (call or visit the library) to participate. 3rd - 5th graders can join the Tuesday, 6 pm sessions. K - 2nd graders can join the Wednesday, 3:45 pm sessions.

Road Trip! This week you're going to take a trip across the United States, driving your car from the West Coast to the East Coast on the interstate highway system. Can you be the first to complete the journey?

TEEN MAKERS

​Teens ages 13-18 are invited to meet in the NMPL Makerspace for snacks and activities! ​

GALENTINE'S EVENING WITH RHINESTONE & ROSES
Wednesday, March 2nd @ 6pm in the Blocher Room
​Join NMPL and Rhinestone & Roses for a wonderful evening with your friends! We'll be in creating your very own Valentine themed flower arrangements featuring an array of pink and red blooms in a keepsake container! All supplies are included. Registration is required as seats are limited. The cost is $30 per patron (cash, check, or credit), due at the time of registration. Sign up by calling the library or stopping by the front desk today!

FREE VITA TAX SERVICES AT NMPL
Fridays from 10am to 4pm, February 11th through April 1st in the Blocher Room
Pathfinder Services HomeOwnership Center offers the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program at the North Manchester Public Library. The Pathfinder IRS trained and certified staff members and volunteers provide free tax preparation assistance to those who made less than $55,000 the previous year and who meet other qualifications of the program.

The HomeOwnership Center has been administering the VITA Program for more than a decade and results in hundreds of thousands of dollars in total Earned Income Tax Credits and generates millions of dollars in tax refunds for those served each year. KNITTING & CROCHET GROUP

Whether you are new to knitting and crochet, or have been enjoying this relaxing craft for years, you'll love our weekly Knitting & Crochet Group here at the library! Come join others in the NMPL Conference Room on Friday afternoons for a relaxing time to work on your current craft projects and to meet new friends!
Beginner and eager to learn? You'll find a helpful teacher here! Beginners should bring a pair of needles (size 6 to 9), and a skein of light colored, worsted weight yarn. Worsted weight yarn is also labeled 4. Light colors are recommended as it is easier to see individual stitches with the light color.
All are welcome!

A book and a big, FUZZY blanket are a great pair. Join us for Cozy-Up Storytime right from your own home! We will be singing songs and reading a book that gives you that warm fuzzy feeling (other than your blanket)!
