The Friends of the North Manchester Public Library will be raffling off two quilts: Cass Rish's hand-stitched queen-sized “Jack in the Books” and 52 by 59-inch “One Fish, Two Fish,”a Dr. Seuss-inspired pattern created by an anonymous donor. Raffle tickets for each quilt will cost $5.00 each or 5 for $20. They will be sold at the library, and the winning tickets will be drawn at 5:00 on Saturday, November 4, following the Friends' Fall Book Sale at the library. Money raised from ticket sales will help fund the programs, projects and purchases that make the library such a vital center of community activities for all ages.
