Beginning Monday, September 9th, the Friends of the North Manchester Public Library will raffle off a handmade quilt! Patrons can purchase tickets for a chance to win Cass Rish's hand-stitched 86 x 86 Dresden Rescue quilt. "This quilt was made in 2011 as a result of a 'find' by sister in Florida," Cass shares. "She found unfinished Dresden Plate quilt blocks in a tag sale and sent them to me for rescue." Tickets will be sold from Monday, September 9th - Saturday, October 10th. Winners will be dawn on the last day of the Friends of the Library Booksale. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the front desk for $5 apiece or 5 tickets for $20. Money raised from ticket sales helped fund the programs, projects, and purchases that make the library such a vital center of community activity for all ages. DRESDEN RESCUE QUILT
