When will you re-open?
NMPL is closed until further notice. We are carefully monitoring the spread of COVID-19 and staying in touch with local officials. We are taking each week as it comes, and will post on our website and social medias when we re-open. Can I book the Blocher Room for an event later this year? Due to the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not making any bookings until some time after we officially re-open. At this time, it's difficult to say with certainty when that would be. We will not be booking the room for awhile in order to continue to promote safe social distancing practices. We apologize for the inconvenience, and while we do hope this will be resolved soon, we want to avoid a situation where we have to continually cancel pre-made bookings. When you re-open, can I use the meeting rooms/Makerspace? In order to promote safe distancing, the meeting rooms and Makerspace will be closed until further notice. When will you begin Curbside Pick Up? We will begin Curbside Pick Up as soon as we can. The safety of our patrons and staff is our first priority. We are excited to offer this service and we will post on our website and social media pages as soon as it is available. I have overdue DVDs/books/ILLs! Will I have any fines? We are waiving all fines on all our materials until further notice. What about my holds? Your holds will continue to stay on hold and you will be able to pick them up once the library opens again. My library card is about to expire. What do I do? We have renewed all our expiring cards for an additional month, and will continue to do so until we re-open. How do I check out an E-book? We have step by step guides here on our website! Just click this e-libraries link! How do I access Ancestry? Visit our Ancestry page to get started! How do I contact the library? Send us an email at nmpl@nman.lib.in.us or send us a message on our Facebook page.
