The Friends of the North Manchester Public Library is raffling off two quilts: Cass Rish's hand-stitched 64 by 64 inch, queen-sized. "Jack in the Books" quilt and a 52 by 59 inch "One Fish, Two Fish," a Dr. Seuss-inspired quilt, created by an anonymous donor. The raffle will begin on Wednesday, September 20th and end Saturday, November 4th. Raffle tickets for each quilt will cost $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00. They will be sold at the front circulation desk, and the winning tickets will be drawn at 5:00pm on Saturday, November 4th, following the Friends' Fall Book Sale at the library. The winners of the raffle do not need to be present at the drawing. Money raised from ticket sales will help fund the programs, projects, and purchases that make the library such a vital center of community activity for all ages.
