REMINDER: The library will be closing today at 3pm. The computers and meeting room will be closing at 2:30pm. Grab your favorite stuffed animal and soft blanket, and join Miss Molly at 9am on Facebook for another virtual Cozy Up Storytime event!  Everyone is invited to our Neon Noon Year's Eve Celebration today at 11:30am in the Blocher Room! Bring the kids and help us count down to the "Noon" Year - we'll have all kinds of neon fun for the whole family. Activities include a freeze dance party, balloon games, coloring, a photo booth with props, prizes, and confetti shooters to help us count down to the big moment!  It's been a long time since we've been able to have an in-person Noon Year's Eve Party - so long ago in fact, that these pictures are from 2019! But this beloved event is back at last, and we are SO excited to celebrate with all of you! Teen Makers is today at 3:45pm in the Makerspace - see you there!  With temperatures dropping below 20 degrees today, the North Manchester Public Library will be available as a Warming Center on Tuesday, December 27th from 9am to 8pm for those who need relief from the cold. The library will have warm water and tea available, as well as restrooms, and comfortable places to sit. Those who are without heat are invited to come in and spend the day with us! No library card or check outs are needed - just come in and warm up in one of our comfortable seating areas. Need some entertainment while you're here? Feel free to browse the collection, enjoy fixing a puzzle, play a board game, or use our computers. Stay warm and stay safe North Manchester!  If you've signed up for NMPL's Hooked On Books Winter Reading Program, you're doing a LOT of reading these days - so why not make a bookmark? Stop by the Passive Craft table ANY time this week to craft your own snowy bookmark pal!  Storytime is today at 10am - we'll see you there! Join us at 3:45pm for our FINAL Paint by Number program of the year - it's painter's choice this time, so enjoy a relaxing session of painting whatever your heart desires! We will remain closed on Friday, December 23rd. This brings us into our holiday closures December 24th through December 26th. We anticipate reopening for normal hours on Tuesday, December 27th at 9am. As always we encourage you to check our website at www.nman.lib.in.us as well as our social media pages in case of updates. We will also send out text alerts to notify patrons of any library closures.
