We can FINALLY announce the news we've been holding in for weeks... @chillzdelights WILL BE SELLING DONUTS AT OUR UPCOMING NIGHT MARKET EVENT! That's right, Chillz and the North Manchester Public Library are once again partnering up for another amazing program. 😍🍩😍 And that's not all... popular guitarist Randy Ragan will also be at the Night Market, bringing us all the mellow musical vibes we love! 🎵 The Night Market is an event for the ENTIRE family to enjoy. We'll have lots of free things to do - such as games (like glow in the dark mini golf, and glow in the dark cornhole), activities (like glow in the dark slime and glow in the dark tattoos), and crafts (like glow in the dark rock painting and glow in the dark art)! We'll also have hot buttered popcorn for everyone to enjoy. YUM! For those who want to spend a little, in addition to delicious Chillz donuts, we'll have craft items for sale, like hats, bookends, potholders, book art, scarves and gloves, and animal headbands. Book lovers will find a fantastic selection of used books available for purchasing for just $1 a piece. We simply cannot wait - we think it's going to be one of our best events EVER! Mark your calendars for Friday, September 23rd from 8pm to 10pm and get ready to enjoy The Night Market with us! 🌙

Grab a mini superhero (it’s yours to keep) and build the perfect headquarters complete with trap doors, secret entrances and crime fighting gadgets!  Cookies & Canvas is tonight at 6pm in the Blocher Room for those who have registered! We'll be painting this beautiful cactus scene - just perfect for the end of summer!  Storytime is today at 10am! We'll be making this colorful turtle, singing songs, and reading a fun story!  Our Informed Artist program is today at 3:45pm! Today we're learning Contour & Stippling. Stippling is a drawing technique in which areas of light and shadow are created using nothing but dots. The basic idea is simple: For darker areas, you apply a greater number of dots and keep them close together. Then for progressively lighter areas, use fewer dots and space them farther apart. Contour drawing is an artistic technique used in the field of art in which the artist sketches the style of a subject by drawing lines that result in a drawing that is essentially an outline.
