Today is the LAST day of our Summer Reading program for adults, teens and kids! As a reminder, this is the final day to collect any prizes, so be sure to come in before 5pm today to pick up any prizes you have earned! Thanks to all the patrons who participated this year and for making every summer reading so amazing!

Come to the Makerspace today at 2pm to participate in a special STEM activity to challenge and encourage your creative thinking!  We're showing Dolphin Tale tonight at 5:30pm for our Summer Vacation Movie Night! Ice cream and popcorn will be provided - all are welcome! "While swimming free in the ocean, a young dolphin gets caught in a trap and severely damages her tail. Though she is rescued and transported to Clearwater Marine Hospital, her tail cannot be saved, and the prognosis is dire. What the dolphin, now named Winter, needs is a miracle. She gets that miracle in the form of a marine biologist, a prosthetic designer, and a devoted boy, who find a way to help Winter swim again." We have a full day of activities planned here at NMPL! Our big summer reading party kicks the day off at 11am to 1pm! We'll have all kinds of fun activities for the whole family - a bounce house, sno-cones, games, and more! Everyone is welcome!  Out of This World Crafts is today at 3:45pm! We'll be making a shaving cream planet earth!  Teen Makers is also today at 3:45pm in the Makerspace - head to the Makerspace for snacks, video games and open makerspace stations! Lastly, Open Tech Hour is today at 6pm. Come to the library to receive help with basic tech needs in a relaxing and positive environment!  Tomorrow is our big end of Summer Reading Party! Join us from 11am to 1pm for games, a bouncy house, sno-cones, a dunk tank, temporary tattoo station and more! Everyone is welcome!  Our August Newsletter is now available!
