But perfection is for plans, and people are all too human. As the champagne is popped and the festivities begin, resentments and petty jealousies begin to mingle with the reminiscences and well wishes. The groomsmen begin the drinking game from their school days. The bridesmaid not-so-accidentally ruins her dress. The bride’s oldest (male) friend gives an uncomfortably caring toast.
And then someone turns up dead. Who didn’t wish the happy couple well? And perhaps more important, why?"
We had the BEST time yesterday at our Touch A Semi-Truck program! Charlie from MPS Egg Farms drove out and gave a special presentation on trucking, then the kiddos got to get up close and personal with a real life semi-truck! They got to explore the cab, check out what's beneath the hood, hear the horn, and even push some buttons! Thanks to everyone who came for this FANTASTIC event!

Make some blossoms (and the vase to hold them) entirely out of a discarded book! Our latest in the series of book folding crafts is a fun way to pay homage to spring even when you don’t have fresh blooms on hand. Pick up a kit at the library or grab an unwanted book to upcycle and tune into Facebook today at 6pm for the tutorial.
Planting season is here but harvest (alas!) is still a ways off. While waiting for crisp veggies, fragrant herbs, and juicy fruits, treat yourself to the ultimate comfort food one more time before the fresh stuff hits us! Gnocchi alla Romana is a one pan dish that is absolutely decadent and satisfying. It also has the advantage of a gnocchi making process that is nowhere near as labor intensive as the traditional form. Tune in today at 11am to follow along with this recipe from Ottolenghi Simple.
