Banned Books Week- September 28th-October 3rd

Banned Books Week is an annual event celebrating the freedom to read. Typically held during the last week of September, it highlights the value of free and open access to information. Banned Books Week brings together the entire book community –- librarians, booksellers, publishers, journalists, teachers, and readers of all types –- in shared support of the freedom to seek and to express ideas, even those some consider unorthodox or unpopular.

Are you looking for a unique experience? Do you often question the unknown?
BSR Paranormal is one of the top paranormal investigative teams in the state of Indiana.
We are one of few paranormal teams that accepts members with or without investigative experience. We investigate cases involving ghosts, aliens, Bigfoot sightings and more.
We offer public and private investigations free of charge.

October’s book club book is Neil Gaiman’s “The Graveyard Book.” Pick up your copy at the end of September at the main circulation desk. Tea and coffee will be provided at book discussions. Hope to see you there!

Note: This will be the last book club book and discussion of the year. We will start back up in January :)

Share Your Collection

Do you collect vintage tshirts? What about postcards or stamps? Show off your collection in one of our glass display cases!

A patron’s collection may be matched with appropriate library materials. Collections are typically displayed for up to 3 months, and the display cases are kept locked.

Just give us a call at 260-982-4773 or come in and fill out a form at the circulation desk!
