"Read Past your Bedtime" Adult Summer Reading

Monday, June 9th @ 9:00am

Community residents 18+ years old are invited to join us this summer for our adult summer reading program! Log the number of pages you read or the amount of DVDs that you watch to win tickets for awesome prizes! Grand prize for the reading portion is a Nook and for the movie portion it is a concession stand and popcorn snack gift basket. More information available as it approaches! Begins June 9th and will end August 4th. Check out the Teen and Kids pages for information on those summer reading programs.


Summer Book Club

Thursday, July 31st @ 5:30pm

Join Heidi in reading Purple Hibiscus by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie this July. Books will be available for pick up at the front desk starting July 2nd. The discussion will be July 31st in the Blocher Room.

Mother-Daugher Day Out

Saturday, August 30th @ 2:00pm

Join us in the Blocher Room for a fun craft day with your favorite kid. A mother, father, aunt, grandpa, etc. can accompany a child to paint their very own mug! This workshop costs $1 to help cover food and craft supplies. Please sign up at the kids or adult desks. 20 seat limit.

Share Your Collection

Do you collect vintage tshirts? What about postcards or stamps? Show off your collection in one of our glass display cases! 

A patron's collection may be matched with appropriate library materials. Collections are typically displayed for up to 3 months, and the display cases are kept locked.

Just give us a call at 260-982-4773 or come in and fill out a form at the circulation desk!
