Simplicity In search of personal fulfilment how can the mundane serve to inspire awe and, yes, a sense of magic? Stories and other testimonies by contemporary and previous sources highlight how simple and quotidian ‘matters’ contain more than philosophical illuminations. Expect great poetry from around the globe to celebrate April as our national poetry month.

Fill out an “I love my library because…” heart at the main desk! Also, there will be a 4 DVD checkout limit Monday through Saturday.
Tuesday, April 14th
It’s National Library Workers Day! Correctly fill out a staff trivia game and be entered to win a gift certificate. Winners will be announced Wednesday.
Wednesday, April 15th
It’s National Bookmobile Day! Make a miniature bookmobile at our craft table and/or receive a special treat for checking out a book from the bookmobile!
Thursday, April 16th
It’s Celebrate Teen Lit Day! Get a special treat when you check out a YA book. Also, be sure to attend the book-themed ice cream social at 3:30!
Friday, April 17th
Watch our Facebook page for trivia questions! Be the first to come in with the correct answer and win a prize!
Saturday, April 18th
Join us for a fun film for all ages: “Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb.” Popcorn and beverages will be available!
Earth Day is Wednesday, April 22nd. Come to the library for your free Earth Day keychain!

Share Your Collection
Do you collect vintage tshirts? What about postcards or stamps? Show off your collection in one of our glass display cases!
A patron’s collection may be matched with appropriate library materials. Collections are typically displayed for up to 3 months, and the display cases are kept locked.
Just give us a call at 260-982-4773 or come in and fill out a form at the circulation desk!
