Adult French Class

Saturday, March 1st @ 10:00am-11:00pm

Have an interest in foreign languages? Then join Atchima Mahamat-zene in the conference room as she teaches you French! This free adult class will be taught once a week on Saturdays for six weeks. Please sign up at the front desk. Look to our "Programs for Kids" page for information on a children's French class.

Balance your Lifestyle Open House

Monday, March 31st @ 9:00am-1:00pm

Learn how reading promotes intellectual wellness at this free event located in the rotunda outside of the Billie Jean Strauss Wellness Center on the Peabody Retirement Community campus. NMPL will have a booth there along with seven other stations that you can peruse. Stop by and discover how expanding knowledge through reading, research, and listening can supplement a healthy lifestyle! Reminder: this event is at Peabody Retirement Community. 

Spring Writing Workshop

Join Beate Gilliar in the Blocher Room for the Spring 2014 writing series. The topic for this session is Eradication. Sign up is not required.

Manchester University International Fair

Visit NMPL’s booth at the MU International Fair hosted in the PERC on the MU campus. Explore worldy books and college students can sign up for a free card!

Share Your Collection

Do you collect vintage tshirts? What about postcards or stamps? Show off your collection in one of our glass display cases! 

A patron's collection may be matched with appropriate library materials. Collections are typically displayed for up to 3 months, and the display cases are kept locked.
