If you've ever visited a website or used an app, you have used something that was created with code. Coding creates instructions for a computer to follow, and this makes it possible for us to play computer games, use apps, browse the web, and more! Learning to code allows you to do all kinds of amazing things on a computer, like building a website or even creating your own game!
In this program, using Code Monkey software, kids will learn the basic process of coding. Participants in this program need to possess good reading skills and basic computer skills (typing, operating a mouse, etc.) Children without these skills are welcome to attend but must bring a parent or guardian to assist them.
